According to CBS-7, an explosion occurred at a corn milling facility. The local authorities said the blast happened around 11 at night. Emergency crews from surrounding areas came in to help with the wounded workers at the Didion Milling Plant. Several medical flights took the injured workers for emergency medical treatment. 

The fires from the explosion were ultimately contained later on that evening and none of the surrounding populace had to be evacuated.
