According to a report by News West 9, An explosion in Reeves County at an oil rig site injured several workers. The lead operator at the site said to investigating officials that they felt the ground trembling underneath them and then the rig exploded. One man was flown in an air ambulance to an Odessa hospital had to have several surgeries and was left in critical condition.  Three other men were taken to the hospital for minor wounds and other injuries.
