Commercial Truck Accidents
Sometimes when people cross over the median, it is because they have fallen asleep at the wheel. This can happen because of a multitude of reasons. Fatigue, road hypnosis, or driving while impaired can be a reason you might fall asleep at the wheel. Sadly, for some truck drivers, they have unrealistic expectations for delivery dates. This may cause the driver to put more hours behind the wheel of the truck than is safe. Also, the driver can simply be wanting to make it home sooner so they drive too many hours. Either way, it is still unsafe. These accidents can be very damaging to property and health. Also, they can rip families apart and take breadwinners away from their children.
